The airport has 4 terminals with a selection of restaurants, cafes and bars in each terminal. The information desk on the Terminal 1 arrivals concourse is open from 06:30-23:00 daily
Location of London Heathrow airportLocated 24km west of Central London . The airport has has 2 tube (London underground) stations, one for terminals 1, 2 and 3, and the other for terminal 4 TerminalsTerminals 1, 2 and 3 are all located in the centre of the airport and are within walking distance of each other via underground walkways. Terminal 4 is located on the south side of the airport, and can be reached from Terminals 1, 2 and 3 via the free inter-terminal transfer service on the Heathrow Express train, which takes approximately eight minutes. DeparturesDepartures and check-in for domestic destinations operate from the first floor of Terminal 1, on the left of the concourse. Check-in desks for international flights are located in the middle and on the right of the concourse. The service runs frequently from 05:30 to 23:30 hours approximately. To purchase a ticket, or for more information, visit the Bus and Coach Information desk in the arrivals area of Terminals 1, 2 or 3. Ticket prices are £3.00 each way. Children aged between 5 and 15 years travel free with each adult. Children under five travel free. Terminal 4 passengers should take the Heathrow Express train service free of charge to one of the other three terminals in order to catch the Hotel Hoppa. Services depart every 14 minutes throughout the day apart from services to the Comfort Inn, the Quality Hotel and the Slough / Windsor Marriott, which depart hourly during the day and half hourly at peak times. Heathrow Express . Paddington - HeathrowHeathrow Express is the fastest way between Heathrow Airport and London Paddington station. Trains depart every 15 minutes, with a journey time of 15 minutes to terminals 1, 2 and 3 and a further 8 minutes to terminal 4. Heathrow Express operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The trains leave Paddington and Heathrow from early morning til late at night. Carriages are clean, spacious and air-conditioned with friendly staff on-hand and easy access for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Express TV gives the latest BBC news updates and mobiles can be used throughout the journey or choose our ‘Quiet Zones’ for a telephone and TV free environment. Trains offer both First and Express Class carriages. Whether your customers are travelling for business or pleasure, Heathrow Express is the perfect stress-free way to start or finish your journey. Tube (Underground)London Underground's Piccadilly Line. There are 2 ZONE 6 Tube stations at Heathrow one for terminal 4 and another one further down the line for terminals 1, 2 and 3. The 2 stations are on a one way line. Therefore you can't travel from terminals 1, 2 and 3 to terminal 4 directly. Piccadilly Line provides you with a quick, cost-effective route to the airport from the capital. Two ZONE 6 stations serve all four terminals
(one for Terminal 4, the other for Terminals 1, 2 and 3), Tickets are available at the London Underground stations. Most Underground stations have ticket machines. . London Underground maps Underground walkways link the Heathrow stations with the terminals. Reading Railair Reading rail station - Heathrow AirportThe Reading Railair is a frequent coach service that operates between Reading rail station and Terminals 1,2 and 3. Express coaches operate daily every 20 minutes and the journey takes 40 minutes to Terminal 1 (1 hour to Terminal 4). The single fare is £10, return £11.50, a saver return £17.50. Frequent trains operate from Reading to and from the west and south west of England and to South Wales Woking Railair Woking rail station - Heathrow AirportLuxury coaches provide a direct link from Woking rail station to Heathrow Airport. Woking Railair coaches operate every 30 minutes and take just 40 minutes. The single fare is £8.00, a day return is £10.00 and a period return is £16.00. Trains operate from Woking station to the south of England. Some of the towns you can reach from Woking are: Southampton, Portsmouth, Winchester, Bournemouth, Guildford and Basingstoke. Watford Railair Watford Junction rail station - HeathrowA coach link from Watford Junction rail station provides a connection between Virgin Trains services and Heathrow. The Watford Railair operates ½ hourly from 05:30 to 22:35 from Heathrow and 06:55 to 23:35 hours from Watford Junction seven days a week. The journey takes about 40 minutes to Terminal 1 (1 hour 5 minutes to Terminal 4). A single ticket costs £4.00 and a return is £6.00. From Watford Junction there are trains to Northampton, Milton Keynes, Birmingham, Liverpool and Manchester. Feltham Railair Feltham rail station - Heathrow Airport.The 285 local bus service connects Feltham rail station with Heathrow Airport. The service operates every 10 minutes between Heathrow central bus station and Feltham rail station and costs £1 per adult per single journey. During the night a nightbus service N285 operates every ½ hour. The central bus station is located close to Terminals 1, 2 and 3. Passengers travelling from Feltham to Terminal 4 should change at Hatton Cross station and take one of the free bus services to Terminal 4 - 555/6/7. National Coach ConnectionsHeathrow has one of the busiest coach stations in the UK. Frequent services connect Heathrow with more than 500 llocal and national destinations. There are a number of different coach operators with National Express being the llargest of them. Some of the towns with direct services from Heathrow are Birmingham, Bristol, Oxford, Cambridge and Glasgow. Most coaches pick up and set down passengers at the central bus station (CBS), which is located close to Terminals 1, 2 and 3 however, some services stop outside the terminals. Please check with the operator for exact information. National ExpressNational Express Operate the majority of nationwide services from London Heathrow
London Airport TransfersHeathrow - GatwickThe National Express 700 runs every 15 - 20 minutes from outside Terminals 1, 3 and 4. These services takes approximately 70 minutes to Gatwick's North and South Terminals and the cost is £17.00 for an adult Heathrow - StanstedNational Express coaches (717/ 727/ 797) operate at ½ hour or 1 hour intervals to Stansted. The journey time is 90 minutes. Coaches run from the central bus station for Terminals 1, 2 and 3 and from outside Terminal 4 arrivals. They set down outside the terminal at Stansted.
