The 700 acre Roundhay Park is located 3 miles to the north of Leeds city centre in The main gate is in Princes Avenue. Tropical World and the adjacent Canal Gardens are on the opposite side of the road.
Roundhay Park was bought by Leeds City Council in 1872, and opened by the third son of Queen Victoria, Prince Arthur.
