River Aire Walk. Section 2.
Victoria Bridge to Leeds Bridge along the South side of the River Aire

  • Our walk uses the South Bank Footpath
  • An alternative route is along the North Bank. Please note there is a flight of steps at either end of this path from the river side ti the main road.

Brasserie Blanc French Restaurant, nearest to the River

Flats offices and on the ground floor of the building jutting towards the river is the Brasserie Blanc French Restaurant, The restaurant entrance is open at night but the riverside walk is closed, from here & upriver.

Flats and another restauraunt on the ground floor  At this point you leave the riverside & continuue along a narrow street, Water Lane, passing the Old Red Lion pub on your right

You arrive at Bridge End after comming down the road between The Old Red Lion Pub on your right and the brick red whare house converted to flats on your leftbuildings on the right.

Bridge End is a short road that leads up to, crosses Leeds Bridge and continues for about 50 metres. The continuation is Lower Briggate and then Briggate the main shopping street of Leeds.
