Marble Arch originaly located at Buckinham Palace.

Marble Arch is a stunning London attraction made from white marble. Although the arch looks to be solid it actually has 3 rooms inside with entrance doorway, not open to the public, and stairs in one of the central pillars. The rooms were used as a police station until 1950.

The arch was originally designed by John Nash in 1825, and completed 8 years later as the gateway to Buckingham Palace from the Mall into the central courtyard between the rear and two side wings The arch was moved to its current location in the mid 19th-century. It was replaced by the first version of the current palace frontage.
